Brazil welcomes the Canoe Slalom’s new generation
Brazil set to host the 2015 ICF Canoe Slalom Junior & U23 World Championships in Foz do Iguazu, Paraná, Brazil, April 22-26 under auspices of the International Canoe Federation. The Canal Itaipu is the most important venue for the event at Latin America and it is constant international event location and home of the Brazilian Canoe Slalom. It’s a honor for Brazilian Canoe Confederation host other great event at Foz do Iguazu.
Foz will take a place for competition between the best athletes of the new generation paddling for the gold medal. It’s expected the presence of more than 380 athletes from 36 countries worldwide.
This is year complete 8 years since Foz do Iguazu hosted the last Canoe Slalom World Champs, event which made history at the city and marked the Canal Itaipu as one of the best artificial tracks at the South Hemisphere since that.
